The Society of Nigerian Artists (SNA) is the professional body for all practicing visual artists in Nigeria. With its headquarters in Lagos since 1964, The SNA engenders the highest standards of scholarship, creativity, criticism and teaching in the visual arts in Nigeria to encourage intellectual advancement and the development of skills that enrich visual arts professionals and their contribution to national growth.
The Society engaged Revilo to best communicate its vision of self-reliance and welfare for its members.
Revilo augmented SNA’s visual identification, introducing the tag line ‘since 1963’, to reinforce the Society’s enduring high standards.
The black and orange colours of the logo were conscientiously selected to symbolize authority, control, elegance, independence, optimism and artistic sophistication.
On capturing SNA’s essence, Revilo established an identity package and brand guidelines for a large variety of visual communication media including marketing collateral, signage, website development and corporate stationery.
Strict adherence to brand guidelines have ensured improved ranking of the Society among similar professional bodies in other disciplines.
